In this edition of our newsletter, Binc is in the spotlight, barber at MAESONS.
“Hi, I’m Binc Berben, 20 years old and I live in the heart of Utrecht.
I’ve been cutting my friends’ hair since I was fourteen and quickly discovered how much I enjoy it. In September 2024, I started the all-round barber training, and I’ve officially graduated. I joined MAESONS in November 2024 – so I’ve been part of the team for about half a year now.
What I think is really cool is that I’ve been able to further develop myself through the MAESONS Online Academy. That internal training really helped me take my skills to the next level and fully embrace the MAESONS style.
I truly feel at home here. The vibe with my colleagues is super chill and it’s great to see that when customers are happy, they come back – that’s a huge motivator.
My favorite part of the job? When someone books an appointment with me for a special occasion – like a wedding. I always do everything I can to make sure they leave looking their absolute best.
The least fun part? The sound of the blender used for the bowls and smoothies. Haha!
My motto: Always late, but worth the wait. Of course, I’m always on time for my appointments at MAESONS 😉”.
