For Maeson (founder & co-owner), no week is ever the same. In addition to running MAESONS, building the franchise concept, and co-developing the barber training program for vocational education, he flies to London almost every week to cut Jurriën Timber’s hair. Sometimes at his home, sometimes at his club Arsenal.
His day starts early in Utrecht, catching the first flight to England. In London, a few hours of full focus follow, perfecting the look of a top football player. Then it’s quickly back to the airport and in the evening back in the Netherlands – ready to be in the shop the very next day.
This combination of craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, and international allure makes Maeson’s workweek unique. From the barber’s chair in Utrecht to the Premier League pitch: the same passion for barbering is at the heart of it all.
As Louis van Gaal said to Maeson during the World Cup in Brazil (2014): “When your hair looks good, you feel good” – and that’s exactly what we at MAESONS want to pass on to our customers. Looking good is just the beginning; it makes you feel stronger, perform better, and stand more confidently in life.
