On March 23 and 30, we delivered the Highlights MAESONS Barber Program for teachers at MBO Rijnland. We look back on two intensive and successful days, during which we worked closely with the Hairdressing teachers and explored the subject in depth.
During the training, Maeson and barber Dimitri guided teachers Misha and Edwin through Maeson’s teaching method. The focus was on clipper techniques, working with a razorblade, treating curly/coily hair (type 4) and beard treatment.
Through a look & learn session on various models, Maeson demonstrated how his method, based on technique, structure and simplicity in execution, is applied in practice. This provided new insights, practical tools and immediately applicable knowledge.
MAESONS is becoming a recognized name within vocational education, partly due to the involvement of Maeson and Lindsey (founders and owners of MAESONS) in the development of the new national barbering program launching next school year. This training was developed in response to that collaboration and the growing demand from vocational schools. As an extension of our online MAESONS Barber Program, it offers teachers deeper insight into the methodology, enabling them to better guide their students.
In May, we will deliver this training for several vocational schools. With this development, we continue to contribute to the professionalization of barber education and actively help build the next generation of barbers.
We would like to thank the teachers of MBO Rijnland for their dedication and enthusiasm.
On to the next trainings!
